When a one hour massage just isn't long enough!  Indulge with a luxurious 70 minute full body Swedish Massage along with a hot stone neck and shoulder massage!  This special treatment includes your feet wrapped with warm towels and hot stones too!  Your body will thank you! 

The most common form of massage, Swedish massage involves manipulation of the muscles and connective tissues of the body for relaxation and health maintenance.  This type of massage uses light to medium pressure strokes and is most effective for relaxing the body, calming the nervous system and increasing circulation of blood and lymph.  

This type of massage is designed to work deeply into the muscles and connective tissue to release chronic aches and pains.  Deep tissue massage uses slow strokes, direct pressure and friction, applied across the grain of the muscles.

Smooth, rounded basalt stones are heated  for a profoundly comforting massage, as well as being placed on and under the body. Native American in origin, the warmth and weight of the stones relax muscle tissue, inducing a deep calm without overheating.

For women in their second or third trimester, Pregnancy Massage is designed to nurture mother and baby.  Pregnancy Massage relieves the physical and hormonal discomforts during pregnancy such as backaches, leg cramps, anxiety fatigue and headaches.  We have a supportive pregnancy pillow to allow comfortable face-down or side-lying massage.

Working with your physician, your treatment course is designed and monitored. Massage can minimize the side effects of chemotherapy and radiation, boost the immune system, remove toxins from the body and communicate the energy of well being and health. It can also play a role in reconnecting the whole patient with themselves. This is a very gentle massage. A prescription is recommended. Confidentiality and privacy are honored. 

CranioSacral Therapy is a gentle, yet profound modality for bringing your mind, body, and spirit into balance. With light touch and still holds to the cranium and sacrum (as the name implies) as well as various other "listening stations", the therapist detects and manipulates the pulse of the cerebrospinal fluid that nourishes, protects and detoxifies the brain and spinal chord. This therapy eases restrictions in the central nervous system bringing relief from pain, anxiety, insomnia and more.  

Based on the Usui System of Natural Healing, this Japanese technique is administered by "laying of the hands" for relaxation and reducing stress to promote physical and emotional/spiritual healing. The word Reiki means Universal Life Force Energy. Reiki is both relaxing and healing to the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual bodies. A Reiki session is done with the client completely clothed, lying on a massage table. 

Energy Chelation Therapy is used to clear, balance and charge the Human Energy Field.  Energy blockages can cause pain and stiffness, a sense of unease, disease, or the inability to follow our heart’s desires. Through the gentle practice of still hand holds on various energy centers (chakras) of the body --- balance, health and vitality can be restored. The session is done fully clothed with the client lying comfortably on the massage table. 

Seated chair massage is available at our office by appointment, or at your workplace or event.  Chair Massage is a perfect way to reward employees and incorporate wellness in the workplace. Sessions last 5-20 minutes, focusing on the neck, back, shoulders, arms and hands while the employee remains fully clothed.  Call or email for details.
