I graduated in 2000 from the Center for Natural Wellness School of Massage Therapy in Albany and am a NY State Licensed Massage Therapist and a member of Associated Massage and Bodywork Professionals.

Whether you are in need of relaxation, injury recovery or dealing with a chronic condition, my typical Swedish or Deep Tissue Massage session often incorporates several healing modalities to effectively bring about a healthy change.  I have additional training in Hot Stone Massage, Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy, Cupping, Spa Techniques, Reiki Energy Healing, and Intuitive Development.

Born and raised in Halfmoon, NY, I am proud to be a small business owner offering therapeutic massage in my hometown!

Leslie Buhrmaster, BA, LMT

A graduate of Syracuse University and the Center for Natural Wellness in Albany, I am a New York State Licensed Massage Therapist with additional background in education, nutrition, weight management and wellness. I specialize in Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release and Sports Massage.

My interest in massage developed after a persistent illness,  and two very different injuries which were greatly helped by massage.  I view massage as both a valuable tool to promote healing, and as a wise investment in health maintenance. Beyond this, I see massage as an important "rite" of self care, helping us to stay grounded and in touch with our bodies and selves in a world of stress and fragmentation.  I look forward to meeting you and working with you to meet your overall health and wellness goals.

Jonathan Allen, LMT, CH

I graduated in 2010 from the Center for Natural Wellness. As well as being a NYS Licensed Massage Therapist, I'm also a Nationally Certified Hypnotist and have a degree in Social Work. I provide therapeutic services that honor the body, mind, and heart of my clients, customizing each session to their needs. By combining my skills in Hypnosis, Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Neuromuscular Therapy, Medical Massage, Energy Work and my intuitive touch, I work to bring about therapeutic change. I feel that having an intuitive touch, passion, excellent communication skills, a non-judgmental attitude and a caring and professional demeanor are the most important traits for any great therapist.

In my free time, I enjoy going on adventures, traveling, learning, connecting, and creating.

Joanne Neri, LMT

I am a 2014 graduate from the Center for Natural Wellness School of Massage Therapy and licensed and insured in the state of New York.   I bring to the table a broad range of modalities including Deep Tissue incorporating Myofascial Release, Swedish, Sports Massage, Cupping, Reflexology, Pregnancy and Hot Stone.  I incorporate side-lying when needed into my treatment to achieve a greater release in the neck, shoulder and thoracic region. This particular style is popular during pregnancy, after surgery, as well as anyone suffering from allergies and or asthma.

Additional training includes Reiki 1 in the Usui Tradition.  Reiki is an ancient laying-on of hands healing technique that uses the life force energy to heal, balancing the subtle energies within our bodies.

As a therapeutic practitioner with an intuitive touch, I believe that we don’t heal people.  We help people’s bodies remember how to heal themselves.

Michele Christian, LMT

I am a 2007 graduate from SUNY Morrisville with an Associate in Applied Science Degree in Massage Therapy. I create your session based on your individual needs every visit.  My specialties include deep tissue, pregnancy massage and working with clients with past and current injuries.

I am currently in the process of becoming a Certified Orthopedic Massage Therapist.  My passion and interest for massage therapy began at the age of 13 when my class did a career exploration project and I discovered my interest in holistic health.

In my free time I enjoy spending time with my two small children and husband, as well as traveling.

Deborah Elizabeth, LMT

I graduated from the Center for Natural Wellness School of Massage Therapy in January of 2018 and am a member of the American Massage Therapy Association. I also have a NYS Cosmetology license.

I offer traditional therapeutic Swedish and Sports Massage, and specialize in Shiatsu and Thai Massage.  I have always had a gift and passion to serve others and help them feel great about their mind, body and Spirit.  My body work is based on my knowledge and understanding of human musculature and connective tissue, and using the best modality for relieving each client's pain, tension, and stress to maximize quality of life.

I am committed to personal growth and continuing education in Massage Therapy, Cosmetology, Thai, Yoga, break work, and other modalities in my wellness career, to always have knowledge and information to share with my clients.

I look forward to connecting each of you to your much deserved relief!

Kathy Hutson, BS, LMT

In 2004 I graduated from the Center for Natural Wellness School of Massage Therapy. I am a NYS Licensed Massage Therapist and come to Halfmoon Massage with 14 year of experience.

I decided to pursue a career as a Massage Therapist after a car accident which resulted in whiplash. I was fascinated at how each massage session continued to reduce my pain and increase my range of motion to a full recovery.

I was an athlete in high school and college and currently participate in the 10k running program sponsored by Fleet Feet in Malta. Because of my athletic background, I enjoy working with athletes and encourage receiving massage to prepare the body to train efficiently and prevent injuries.

I provide a relaxing massage to help reduce stress and provide comfort to the client.  I also do Sports Massage\Injury Recovery, Orthopedic Massage and Lymphatic Facilitation.

Each massage is designed to meet the needs of the client from the amount of pressure applied or the need to focus on a particular group of muscles.

I encourage clients to take care of themselves by receiving massage, exercising, daily hydration and restful nights.
